Anderson Fire Protection recently had the privilege of attending the “Building Birdies” inaugural golf classic that was sponsored by Southway Builders! The event went very well, bringing in plenty of participation, and we’re happy to have met all who were able to attend.
About the Event
This golf classic was hosted in Northwest Baltimore, at the Eagle’s Best Country Club this past October 9th. Not only was this an event about bringing fun, but it was also about bringing funds, as this was a charity event. All of the proceeds from this event go towards the Outdoor Space Rehabilitation Program at Fallstaff Elementary/Middle School, which includes a gardening area, as well as an outdoor learning space.
Fallstaff has over 500 students ranging from Pre-K all the way through 8th grade. Their school emphasizes sustainability with environmental programs such as composting and rainwater harvesting. With the funds from this event, their students will be given a fuller and richer outdoor education.
We’re very grateful to have had the chance to be a part of this golfing classic. It was a fun experience, and we’re glad we get to contribute to the education of the students at Fallstaff. We wish their students the best!
