We are currently looking for someone to satisfy the role of fire sprinkler designer.

Our team designs and installs all types of fire sprinklers for various applications. Our fire sprinklers are also meant to be used in a variety of settings, including schools, warehouses, government buildings, and more! Requirements for the Job

The fire sprinkler designer is going to be responsible for processing and cleaning up CADD files from A/E firms. They will use the HYDRACAD program to help them design sprinkler systems. On top of that, they will be asked to hydraulically calculate their fire sprinkler systems for submission and lend their help in project management.

You will also need to be capable of preparing field drawings and fab lists for the installations, and you will have to get material submissions prepared and draw up submission packages. Another part of the job involves making site visits and going to project meetings when required.

This list makes up a brief overview of what will be expected. As far as past experience goes, we are looking for people who have a minimum of three years of experience designing fire sprinklers, with upside given to those who have three years with HYDRACAD. This job will be available to those who don’t possess a college diploma, but we prefer that you have no less than a high school education.

What Does the Job Offer?

If you are accepted for the position of fire sprinkler designer, you will be compensated well. This position offers a 401K with health, vision, dental, disability, and life insurance. You will also have access to paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and a retirement plan. What’s more, is that you will be able to have a health savings account. The position will pay at a rate of $25-$32 per hour depending on experience, and you will be scheduled to work 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime.
